CATSINaM Scholarships - applications have closed for 2025
Scholarships are awarded to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander SA Health nurses and/or midwives to attend the annual Congress of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses and Midwives (CATSINaM) National Conferences.
2025 CATSINaM Scholarship Recipient
Kristine Hampton has been awarded the 2025 SA Health scholarship to attend the CATSINaM Regional Congress in Waibene (Thursday Island) from the 2 – 4 July 2025., see her attached reflective report.

CATSINaM is the sole representative body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives in Australia. CATSINaM implements strategies to increase the recruitment and retention into nursing and midwifery professions.

About the SA Health Scholarship
The SA Health Nursing and Midwifery CATSINaM Scholarships aim to foster and strengthen relationships between Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander nurses and midwives and their peak body CATSINaM, and to build the capacity and capabilities of our workforce.
Applications for the scholarships have now closed.
Scholarship application selection process
Scholarships have been assessed and awarded based on the recommendation of the CATSINaM SA Health Scholarships Selection Panel.
