Endocrine outpatient services at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Endocrine services at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH) forms part of Central Adelaide Local Area Health Network (CALHN) endocrine outpatient services, which provide endocrine services for patients with endocrine disorders living within CALHN as well as those referred from rural and remote areas, including the Northern Territory, South West NSW and the Victorian Riverland.

Priority service is provided to disorders which cause severe metabolic derangement or are potentially life threatening, if untreated.

Immediate referral process to TQEH Clinic

For admission or URGENT advice contact the TQEH Endocrine Registrar or the on call medical registrar if after hours, via TQEH switchboard on: (08) 8222 6000.

Alternatively, if the problem is urgent and the patient is unstable, the patient should be sent directly to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital for assessment.
