Vaccination helps protect you, your loved ones and our community from COVID-19.

COVID-19 vaccinations are available at participating GPs and pharmacies across South Australia.

  • Pfizer vaccine is available for people aged 5+. Children aged 5 to 11 are given a paediatric formulation at a reduced dose.
  • Moderna vaccine is available for people aged 6+. Children aged 6 to 11 are given a formulation at a reduced dose. Adults aged 18+ can have the Moderna bivalent vaccine as a booster.
  • Paediatric Moderna vaccine is available for eligible children aged 6 months to under 5 years.
  • Novavax vaccine is available as a primary course for people aged 12+, or as a booster dose for people aged 18+.
  • AstraZeneca vaccine is available for people aged 18+. Pfizer, Moderna, or Novavax COVID-19 vaccines are preferred over AstraZeneca for people aged under 60 years, unless contraindicated.

Moderna bivalent COVID-19 vaccine

The Moderna bivalent COVID-19 vaccine will be available for eligible people aged 18+ when receiving the third or fourth (booster) dose at selected vaccination clinics.

The vaccine provides protection against the original COVID-19 strain and the Omicron variant.
