The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is responsible for the planning and delivery of hospital and health services over 337,626 square kilometres of South Australia.
Taking in the Eyre Peninsula, the western part of South Australia, and north to Coober Pedy, we are one of the largest Local Health Networks (LHN), by area in Australia.
Our Governing Board sets the strategic priorities of the LHN, as well as being responsible for overall governance and oversight.
This includes performance and budget management, safety and quality, compliance, and risk management.
The Governing Board sets the strategic direction for the LHN through the EFNLHN Strategic Plan 2026-2030.
The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) is part of SA Health and the local provider of hospital, aged care, community health, disability, and mental health services to a resident population of 41,000, plus tourists, who flock to this part of the South Australia, particularly in summer.
