Metropolitan Youth Health

Metropolitan Youth Health (MYH) provides free, confidential services for young people aged 12 to 25 years, with a focus on young people under 18 years, across metropolitan Adelaide.

Our services are tailored to young people who are:

  • Under Guardianship of the Chief Executive / Minister (present/past)
  • Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • In the Kurlana Tapa Youth Justice Centre (present/past) (formerly known as the Adelaide Youth Training Centre)
  • Young pregnant and/or parenting women and their partners wanting to access MYH's:
    • Clinical health care
    • Talking Realities Program – Tailored Learning Provision (formerly known as FLO)
    • Young Men / Young Fathers Program – victim/survivor of or at risk of use of perpetrating DFV
    • SPACE Program – pregnant/parenting women at risk of experiencing DFV
  • Refugees
  • Homeless (primary only – sleeping rough)
  • Newly identifying as same-sex attracted, transgender and/or gender questioning.
