Veteran Wellbeing Centre
The Veteran Wellbeing Centre delivers health and wellbeing services to veterans and their families, including those that assist in a successful transition from Defence to civilian life, such as medical services, DVA claims support, transition care and advocacy.

The Jamie Larcombe Centre is a purpose built veterans’ mental health precinct located at the Glenside Health Service Campus. The Centre provides specialised mental health care for current and former Australian Defence Force members, as well as eligible emergency service personnel.

There are a number of ex-service organisations (ESOs) set up to support current and former ADF members and their families in South Australia.

The Minister for Health’s Veterans’ Health Advisory Council
The Veterans’ Health Advisory Council (VHAC) advises the Minister for Health on health issues of Veterans, war widows and their families in South Australia and advocates on their behalf.

Statewide Veterans Health Advocate
The Statewide Veterans’ Health Advocate is based at the Veterans Wellbeing Centre and assists veterans to access appropriate health care within the public system. The role also builds capacity within the health system to better respond to the needs of veterans.
