Plan Ahead campaign

The Plan Ahead campaign aims to raise community awareness of the benefits of early planning, including safeguarding rights and protecting against abuse, whilst increasing the uptake and understanding of Plan Ahead legal tools by adults at all stages of life, to support individual choice in the event of loss of capacity or death.

Held annually in September, Office for Ageing Well in partnership with:

  • Legal Services Commission of SA (LSC)
  • Office of the Public Advocate (OPA)
  • DonateLife SA (DLSA)
  • COTA SA
  • My Home Hospital, Wellbeing SA; and
  • End of Life Care, Health System Performance, Department for Health and Wellbeing

Challenges the South Australian community to think about their financial, health, legal and personal wishes, and how they can make sure they’re known and respected.
