If you test positive to COVID-19, it is normal to feel worried or scared. It is likely your symptoms will be mild and you can recover safely at home.

You should only call Triple Zero (000) or attend an emergency department if your symptoms are severe.

COVID-19 treatments

Antiviral treatments reduce the risk of severe disease and hospitalisation from COVID-19.

Treatments are available for people 70 years and older, people 50 years and older with two or more risk factors, Aboriginal people 30 years and older with two od more risk factors and immunocompromised people 18 years and older.
