Fundamentals of Clinical Supervision

This course is about the clinical supervision of qualified health professionals. It provides you with the opportunity to think about your own role as a supervisor or supervisee and how you can enhance the supervision relationship.

Clinical Supervision in Practice

Throughout the course you will explore opportunities and challenges in supervision in your role as a supervisor and identify strategies for improving outcomes for yourself, your supervisee and their clients. If you are new to supervision or have never had any formal training in being a clinical supervisor, you should complete the Fundamentals of Clinical Supervision course first.

Clinical Placement Resources

Country Health SA Local Health Network has recently developed on-line clinical placement resources for both student and supervisor use to support a culture of learning and one strategy to build and maintain our skilled workforce.

Supervisors can:

  1. Store their frequently used resources, education modules and orientation materials here
  2. Share resources with others who supervise students across the network.
  3. Direct students to where they can find information on the student pages.

Students can use these pages to find helpful information about their placement and profession, as well as investigate more about CHSALHN by exploring the rest of the wiki.
