Mental Health Allied Health professional careers
Become a casual Mental Health Allied Health professional and be the first to hear about job opportunities that help people on their road to recovery.
Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist interested in casual employment with mental health services?
We are seeking registrations of interest from Level 1 and 2 Allied Health professionals who would like to be considered for temporary backfill roles, in casual, full-time and part-time capacities, across Adelaide.
SA Health has a variety of short term job opportunities that require Level 1 and 2 professionals to help the Government deliver the Mental Health and Wellbeing stepped model of care services and programs.
Our services are aimed at supporting a person's recovery and ability to live a fulfilling life in the community. The range of services ensures people have access to the appropriate level of support, and allow people to 'step-up' to more intense health care if they are becoming unwell and 'step-down' to other support services as their health improves.
Opportunities involve positions providing clinical services to adults and/or older people in:
- the community, including community mental health centres
- supported accommodation
- day programs
- community and inpatient rehabilitation centres
- intermediate care centres
- acute care settings
- forensic care settings
Our casual workforce is an important and valued extension of our team. So why not become integral to the delivery of better Mental Health outcomes for South Australians.
