Riverland Academy of Clinical Excellence research

Health research has been occurring on Country for more than 60,000 years, and our research seeks to continue to respect and build on the bio-psycho-socio-spiritual understanding of health that is articulated by local Aboriginal people.

Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) research, via the Riverland Academy of Clinical Excellence (RACE), collaborates with various universities, medical research institutes and community services.

RACE research programs enable  the RMCLHN community to benefit  innovative treatments and new models of care that can enhance our understanding of various health conditions.

The research programs also attract investment into our region and assist us to recruit the very best clinicians and scientists to our hospitals and practices.

Research is funded through various local, national and international grants and organisations.
