Health Advisory Councils
In regional areas of South Australia HACs ensure that the strong link between communities and their health services are maintained.
There are five Health Advisory Councils in the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network:
- Hawker District Memorial Health Advisory Council
- Leigh Creek Health Services Health Advisory Council
- Port Augusta, Roxby Downs, Woomera Health Advisory Council
- Quorn Health Services Health Advisory Council
- Whyalla Hospital and Health Services Health Advisory Council
For further information about the HACs, visit the Regional Health Advisory Councils page.
Community Network
The FUNLHN Community Network is a way for our community (both individuals and groups) to become involved in our local and regional health services.
The network includes a register of interested community members and groups who are involved at a level that suits them and it is a partnership between FUNLHN health care providers and services and our community.
For more information or to register, visit the FUNLHN Community Network page.
Volunteering at FUNLHN
FUNLHN volunteers are an integral part of our health services.
Our volunteers generously give their time to support the needs of our patients, provide essential services, and enhance the comfort and wellbeing of patients and their loved ones.
We have a variety of volunteer groups and activities within our hospitals and health services, and always welcome new volunteers who would like to join us!
